We have successfully landed in Spain after an interesting set of US flights.
We walked to the Kitsap Airporter Shuttle pickup near our house around 2am on Thursday night, or I guess you could say Friday morning.
Seattle to Atlanta's comfort plus seating came with smaller than normal seats? So, Dan and I had a good laugh for the 4 hour of the flight.
Our connecting flight in Atlanta to Madrid was delayed, so we sat down to have some lunch at around 4pm local time. Though the flight was only meant to be delayed by 45 minutes we spent over 3 hours on the tarmac due to a tow bar malfunction.
We ate twice on the flight, but then didn't have an actual meal again until just now, on Saturday evening around 10pm local time. All in all we were in route nearly 26 hours with the delays.
Our rooms were delayed to check into at the hotel and we nearly missed our afternoon tour, but caught it by the hairs on our chiny chin chins and had a lovely time touring Toledo this afternoon and at a Flamenco show tonight!

Highlight of the day?
Our bed, for sure
So grateful for some rest.
Until next time, buen camino!
